Hospitality sector getting ready to reopen from July 4

Cafes, bars, restaurants and hairdressers are among businesses in Plymouth City Centre getting ready to reopen from July 4 with a new 1 metre plus rule in place on social distancing.

Hotels, holiday accommodation and some leisure facilities can also reopen.

But beauty and tanning salons, nail bars, gyms, casinos and tattoo parlours must remain closed.

All businesses must follow Covid Secure guidelines: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/working-safely-during-coronavirus-covid-19

If you are getting ready to reopen your business, you MUST carry out a risk assessment https://www.hse.gov.uk/simple-health-safety/risk/index.htm

Once your business has completed the COVID-19 risk assessment and you have put measures in place to keep your customers and workers safe, download your COVID-19 Secure poster here to display in your shop window.

You can also download a poster to welcome back your customers and remind them of social distancing and good hand hygiene. Click here to download your poster.
