WELCOME TO SPINNERS – INTERACTIVE GAMES BAR IS THE LATEST OPENING AT THE BARCODE

Plymouth’s newest venue, Spinners, will open its doors on Thursday 12th October, following a £1.2 million investment. The interactive games bar will offer fun, food and is the latest opening at The Barcode in the city centre.

Spinners Plymouth will be host to a new, innovative ‘clayshot’ concept, where the classic British pursuit will be brought indoors. The game allows guests to test accuracy and reactions, thanks to the latest technology, providing a fun, competitive challenge for beginners and more experienced shooters alike.

Situated on The Barcode’s lower ground floor, guests can choose between five clay shooting booths, five Duckpin bowling lanes and two darts oches.

Amy Trott, Head of Operations at Spinners UK said: “We’re delighted to welcome Spinners to Plymouth. Guests can expect unique games, such as the clay shooting game, which is the first of its kind.  The reduced lane length and smaller pins and balls that feature in Duckpin bowling mean that there’s more rivalry to be had – we just encourage guests to keep it as healthy competition!”

Greg Lumley, Centre Director at Drake Circus added: “We’re always on the hunt for exciting new brands and experiences to bring to Drake Circus and The Barcode, so it’s fantastic to be able to welcome Spinners. It’s a great addition to our leisure offering, giving people in Plymouth a totally new interactive games concept.”

Operating over two floors, Spinners has capacity of 150 and will open daily, from midday until late. The upstairs of the venue hosts a private bar, which is available for events and exclusive use.

Spinners joins other operators Cineworld, Boom Battle Bar and Paradise Island Adventure Golf at The Barcode, giving visitors to the city centre and Plymouth residents a wide choice of contemporary leisure activities to choose from.
