Nigel Godefroy
Nigel has been Chair of the City Centre Company since 2018. Well known in the area, Nigel was previously CEO of Sutton Harbour and was responsible for much of the award winning regeneration around the harbour area. A commercially minded Chartered Accountant, Nigel also sits on the Board of Destination Plymouth and is a shadow Board Director of the Box. For the past nine years Nigel has been a Trustee of Plymouth Marine Laboratory where he also chairs the audit committee and is also a Governor of the Arts University Plymouth and a trustee of Dame Hannah Rogers. Other previous roles include Deputy Chair of the Barbican Trust, a Commissioner for Cattewater Harbour and a Director of Resound Health which built health facilities in Plymouth including Mount Gould Hospital.
